Soundbuilt Homes has helped residents of Washington state attain the dream of homeownership for more than 30 years. The company, founded in 1980 by Gary Racca, has completed more than 4,000 affordable and high-quality homes since its inception. Its homes range in price from the $100,000s to $400,000.

There are many aspects of SENER that distinguish it from other engineering companies. One of them is that it is still privately owned by the same family that founded it 60 years ago.  Enrique de Sendagorta started the company in the mid-1950s in Bilbao, Spain, with a focus on this own background, marine engineering. Four years later, when his brother José Manuel joined him, the company expanded its reach to industrial engineering, processing plants, civil and petrochemical engineering.

Founded by brothers Jalal and Mohammad Farzaneh in 1981, the company now known as Home Creations Inc. has made a name for itself in Oklahoma based on a commitment to building exceptionally designed homes with the latest amenities and in great locations. The company has managed to do this while still helping to keep the dream of homeownership affordable for thousands of people.

Founded in Barcelona, Spain, in 1900, FCC Construcción has a long tradition of completing high-level projects throughout its native country and abroad. The Spanish company has survived longer than a natural human life; it has endured two world wars, the Spanish Civil War, the transition from dictatorship to democracy and the adoption of the Euro.

In 1905, Cemento Cruz Azul (Blue Cross Cement), a company that had been processing lime since 1881, started producing cement in Mexico City. But in 1931, when the owners were ready to close the factory, the Mexican government intervened, buying the business and giving it to the employees, who turned it into a cooperative. Today, Cemento Cruz Azul’s employees are still the owners of the business, and the company’s name is well-known among both construction companies and soccer fans.

Architectural Glass & Aluminum (AGA) is committed to serving its customers correctly, no matter what, Vice President of Project Management Bill Coll Jr. says. “The culture of our company is to do the right thing, even at the expense of profit, because that is what the customers [need],” he declares.

“We want to deliver even more than the customer expects, because the last impression is what sells the next job,” he says, noting that the firm holds its employees to a high standard. “That is the best way that we can ensure that [strong service] is delivered.”
